Allyson and Matt Helm live in Blackwell and have given me a sweet grandson, Jakob.
Korrie and Jim Coakley live in Hobart and have given me four robust grandchildren,
Andrew, Kallie, Kassie, and Jenna. Lindsey and Vince Young live in Blanchard and
have blessed me with Madeline, Lucas and Sydney.
I retired from Muskogee Public Schools after 30 years at MHS as an English teacher
and Department Chair. I taught the children of many of our classmates. I also
served the district as Language Arts Curriculum Coordinator K--12 and Instructional
Coach. After retirement, I worked part-time (7 years) for Holt, Rinehart, & Winston
Book Publishers while teaching adjunct for NSU and Connors, and working as an
Assistant Administrator at Saint Joseph School. I am presently the principal at
Saint Joseph.
I am my parents' caregiver. Dad is 91 and Mom is 83. I especially enjoy my family,
but I have always enjoyed every job I've had because I love serving children.

Thank you so much Sandy, for sending in info. about you. You are a very special person. I admire your continued desire to serve and meet the needs of children. I can't think of any greater need than nurturing and educating children.
