I apologize for the poor quality of this photo for Nell and the on for Mary Smoot. I only had the yearbook and whatever they used for ink back in those days leave black spots that I could not seem to touch up in editing. Anyone, know of a better way to get the pictures clear?
Girl, it would not have been noticed had you not mentioned it. We are just so grateful that you do this, that it would be tacky to complain. Nell was such a sweet girl who had a hard ol' row to hoe in her younger days as well as in her final days. As far as I know, she bore it with courage and grace and probably never lost her beautiful smile and kind heart. RIP, Nell.
