Carol Hughes Kennedy

I moved to Colorado in 1969, and earned my teaching degree from U N Colorado.  I have been married to Chuck, an AF Academy grad, for 38 years.  We have lived in Arizona, Alaska, Alabama, Florida, Philippines, Colorado, and Germany.  We now live in the panhandle of Florida, just across the bay from Destin.

I have four girls and 3 1/2 grandkids.  They are Cyndi (Kensey/Kyle), Kristen (Thomas/ mystery child), Katie, and adopted Ashleigh after my sister Terry and husband Greg passed.

I retired from teaching June 14th, 2010, and love being retired (so far).  Working out and reading are my passions.  I will be heading to Oklahoma in October, and I hope to see some of you.

LaNell Blackwell Boyer

One of the goals for this blog is to post pictures and information about
our classmates.  I am going to get it started by sharing a little about my
life since graduation.  I am looking  forward to receiving a summary
and pictures, if possible, to post about each of you.

Senior pictures - 1966
Then
I married my high school sweetheart in July, 1966.  David graduated from
OSU in 1970, and I graduated from Bacone College in 1975.  I am a registered
nurse.  We have owned and operated a dairy farm for almost 32 years.
We have two children,  a son, Rudy who lives in Texas with his wife Christy, and son Gillan, and daughter Gracie. Our daughter, Katie and husband Craig, and three boys, Joshua, Andrew, and Nathan live on the farm near us.  We live in Webbers Falls, America and attend Southeast Baptist Church in Muskogee where David serves as a deacon.  Life has been good!

A Great Get Together

A great group of ladies from the class of '66 met today at Ms. Addie's Tea Room
in Muskogee.  A good time was had by all.  There were more conversations going on
than you can imagine.  I have many pictures to share.  Some will be on facebook later,
and more here as I can sort through them.  The ladies below have one thing in common.
They all attended Whittier Elementary School.  There were 32 ladies from our class
of '66 who came for the get together....a record number thus far.
Back Row:  LaNell Blackwell, Chris Hubbard, Diane Thompson,
